Bravida chooses System Edström for the service vans of the future

As one of the Nordic region’s leading providers of service and installation services for buildings and facilities, Bravida is always looking for ways to improve efficiency and service. As part of this, the company is introducing the new Kia PV5 electric van to its fleet.

And to complement this exciting new vehicle, Bravida has chosen System Edström to provide the necessary van racking. Bravida’s service technicians rely on their vans every day, so it was essential that they choose a racking provider that can meet its unique needs.

We are proud to be entrusted with delivering well-designed and functional van racking that improves safety, working conditions and efficiency for Bravida’s service technicians. Together, we are creating sustainable service vans adapted to both today’s and tomorrow’s needs.

A long-standing and strong partnership

Our partners in the region have worked with Bravida for many years and together we have equipped thousands of service vans. Tommy Svensson, Key Account Manager Nordics at System Edström, says: “During the latest van procurement, we also reviewed the van racking to ensure the right functionality and pricing for the customer.” The new project is a natural next step in our continued collaboration, with a focus on electrification and sustainability.

Björn Rothstein, Fleet Manager at Bravida, says: “There were several factors behind our decision to choose System Edström again: the price; how well the van racking fit our new service vans; and how quickly they were able to support us from start to finish. We also share the same sustainability vision, which made the decision easy for us.”

Smart solutions for the technician’s everyday work

In developing the racking, the goal was to create a safer and more flexible working environment for the drivers. “Driver safety was a key factor, together with expanded possibilities for securing loose items that might otherwise end up on the floor,” says Tommy.

The team used our digital design tool, DnD, to develop different solutions and visualise them in 3D. “That made it easy to see the van interior in real time,” says Björn. “System Edström was quick and flexible when we wanted to make changes, and their wide product range helped us find the right solution. In addition, the products are very easy to install, which has saved us both time and money.”

4,000 vans in Sweden

Bravida’s vehicle fleet comprises 4,000 vans in Sweden, of which a large number will soon be electric. This gives the company is a higher proportion of electric service vans with improved ergonomics and better organisation.

“I hope our employees will be very satisfied. We have put a lot of thought into safety and the working environment, making sure everything has its place,” says Björn.

What’s included in the newly equipped PV5 Cargo?

• Drawers in the side door for quick access without having to step into the van
• Shelving systems with space for assortment cases, Systainers and our green storage boxes
• Accessories such as ladder holders, document holders, hooks, and hose and cable holders
• An open cargo area for larger goods with high flexibility

A shared vision for the future

Together with Bravida and Kia, we have developed a modern, sustainable, and efficient service van that will support installers in their daily work for many years to come.
